An indy MB guy around here (So. Jersey) had one for sale for quite a while and sold it about 9 months ago. The car was either 92 or 93. It had 163,000 miles on it then and he was asking 12,000-12,500 for it. Judsging on how long he had it for sale, I'd say he probably got close to that for the car.

Fwiw, I recall reading an article on the web a while back that not all the 500E's were assembled in the Porsche plant.
