Thanks for the good information on the console cover. I am not at all familiar with the Zebrano wood, but I thought no larger than it is it would not be too big a project to tackle. I hope the wood is naturally that color so I don't have to match or stain it again. It has some hair line cracking I would like to take out. I have noticed some Mercedes walking by them, that look great. Yet, there are others that resemble the way mine looks. It might make a good retirement project!
