I agree that is an exaggeration. Much like the "Record Profits" that the media gave us a few years ago. It made people repeat that phrase although nobody I quizzed had any idea what the percentage profit was.
That may be but do you have to admit that it was a total waste of time from the standpoint that it will have as much chance of working as trying to cool down the sun by throwing a snowball at it.
Are the legislators so free now that they can come up with stupid things that sound good but will never have a chance of success? Note, these are paid people. Since you own your own company, how do you feel about employees sitting on their butts and playing solitaire when there is obviously work to be done?
If you can show me that any of those items can produce a significant change, why not? Smoke out days. Does that really work? Do people just stop for 3 days and go back to it? If so, you have won a Pyrrhic Victory but not much else. Like I said, if you can show significant gain WRT the effort and money, it is something we should do.
