We purchased my wife's car in 1989 with 20K on the odo, for 20,000.00.It has been an ULTRA reliable vehicle. NOTHING that has failed, did so without a lot of warning. She has iirc, 230,000 miles now. It has been one of the most reliable platforms I've ever seen. Many of her friends have been through 2 Hondas, and spent way more on maintenence than we have.Not sure what it's worth now, but we are going to ride it out. I just did the timing chain, and will do the oil cooler lines soon. No matter the cost this thing will be a good value, no matter what work it needs. My TD at 115K seems to be as reliable, now that it's sorted out. OM617 based vehicles are forever.
