Is it advisable to change the fuel filter myself? The local repair shop stated that my fuel filter seems to be the original one. Vehicle is a 95 C-280. No problems, They say that the hose is beginning to disintegrate. They also said that it might be safety issue & that I should have it replaced. There price is $226.00( parts & labor).


It looks simple - any thoughts would be appreciated.
