RX8's and S2k's use trannies that are based roughly on the Mazda Miata transmission. Unless you've got an itty bitty high revving motor in a lightweight chassis, it'll eat those transmissions in a heart beat. The S15 6speed isn't strong AT ALL, and they often go back to the 71C 5 speed in the S13 chassis car.
The best boxes to get for strength are the Trans in the Skyline GTS-T or Z32. The R154 is close to that, and if you've got the cash to spare, a T56 is strong too.
