After I posted last in this thread, The problem seemed to go away. Today, I was out driving, and it started doing the shift flare things again. It's for sure between 2 and 3 gear.
Now, I've got a rattle that's similar to the rattle that my 126 had when the shift linkage bushing was worn out. Could that be a cause of 2-3 shift flare??
Also, the problem seemed to completely disappear after the outside temps got down to about 3-5 degrees C outside.
I have a blinker tool on order as my last 2 attempts have not produced a working model. When it gets here, what pins do I need to check, and how are they numbered??
