I think there is a vendor who will rebuild one's climate control panel. I am looking to have mine completely rebuilt before doing other A/C - Heater work. This would be for a 300D 1983. Also, I believe there's a place to have the Cruise Control rebuilt, the unit from under the dash. Anyone know who this might be?

How can I trouble shoot the CC? I can't even find where it activates the throttle. How's it work with no vacuum? My only and lonely Haynes manual doesn't cover the CC at all.
