AMD CPU's are superior. I run many servers and a ton of desktops with AMD CPU's and they perform flawlessly. In fact, my AMD systems are capable of virtualization, something many Intel CPU's cannot do. For Performance vs. Price, AMD are better in every way. I'd never throw my money away on an Intel CPU. Many intel CPU's will not run the XP Mode virtual machine due to their limitations in virtualization. I'd stick with an AMD CPU.
