When I raced my 16V 190E...I tried 4-5 different wheels weighing as low as 11 lbs each.
I used W202 C-class wheels most of the time.

There was barely a tenth of a second to be gained on a 1minute 45second lap.
However I ended up with a lot bent rims & deemed the light weight wheels worthless.
