merc 190 G plate 2.00 man pet

I have been reading posts on this site about tacho problems but cant find how to get there to post my problem so i am posting in the most appropriate heading

My problem is that the tack suddenly packed up I cant rember anything in paticular happening on the occasion of pack up , obviously the 1st thought was a fuse to which i checked under the bonnet , they were ok so, I am now wondering if there is a secound fuse cluster that i need to look for, on the case to the fuse box under bonnet there is no listing for the fuse that supplied the clock and tach

Is there a second fuse cluster anywhere, ???

is there an tach amp on this mod as I have read that some changes were made around this year

where is the sensor normally situated the haynes says nothing????
