Did you replace ovp with a new one?

Also, check the idle switch located by your throttle linkage. Sometimes, the wheel on the switch breaks, and the car does not go in to idle mode.

just for the heck of it, check your hoses coming to and from your idle air control valve.

I had a similar problem before, but the ovp was the fix for me..
