I have a 722.350 4-gang auto that I need to swap from my 89 560SEL engine to my 1986 560SL engine for my /8 V8 engine swap. how in the world do I do this?

similar question, and same procedure on my 1987 190D 2.5 turbo, I am doing a M/T swap and have no idea how to take the auto off.

any help appreciated.
