I stand corrected. The 400E / 400SEL mounts
are the same. For some reason, when I first searched for (124 240 2617) I got a picture for the 300E mounts, and I know what those look like. But 124 240 2617 is for the V8 W124's only, my parts site listed that they fit the I-6 cars too. Sorry for aiding in your confusion. You infact, do, have the right mounts.
