Hi All,

I replaced all three engine mounts on my 1998 C200 manual last week (front right - Lemfoerder, Front left - Rein Automotive, rear - Original part from Merc.)

It has corrected 95% of the vibrations but there is still a slight vibration at idle and when revving the engine. At higher speeds this can also be felt in the steering wheel. Is there a special way of centering the engine that I was supposed to do when replacing the mounts? I just jacked up the engine, lined the holes up, and tightened to the specified torque.

What else can cause this vibration? It's not tyre's as it occurs at idle and I recently had the alignment and balancing done. Oh, and it has 200,000km (+-125k miles) on the clock
