Well, today has been an awful day. I pulled the valve body on my 1992 400E to put in some new springs and o-rings. I've been having all sorts of shifting issues that I traced back to the
VB. Anyways, I followed the directions saying to separate the two
VB halves, and incidentally, all the damn plastic check balls have run all over the place. Also a couple springs and some other gizmos fell out. Great. I have no idea how it goes back together. I do not have the 722.3 transmission manual. If anyone out there has an instruction manual, a diagram, a picture, ANYTHING, that could help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Tomorrow I may take the whole thing to the dealer and see if they know anything... or if I can borrow their manuals. Thanks everyone in advanced!
