As for your question on the hoses - you need to specify fuel injection hose. The regular fuel hose they offer is low pressure and is cheap (like 50c a foot) but only works up to something like 12psi. The fuel injection hose is up to triple digit PSIs and is reinforced. It is also a lot more expensive (like $10) a foot, but you don't need a whole lot of it. The high pressure stuff should be fine.
