Just curious; did you have your dirty greasy paws on the face of the pads or in other words - despite not using goo did you get other muck on the face of the pad - then you will defniately have a squeal no matter how much goo you apply to the back of the pads afterwards.
The front of the pads should be treated like surgical equipment
