Hope someone can guide me in the right direction.

I had my 86 420SEL A/C recharged yesterday at my local indy shop, and they said they couldn't control the compressor from the dash controls, but were able to get the compressor to run, and cold air was blowing, by connecting 12V to the compressor terminals. I guess they used a battery and jumper leads of some kind.

Anyway, ever since they did that, I have no headlights. The (2) fuses look to be fine; is there a separate relay or something that might have blown?

I am not sure the work on the compressor is related...

What should I look for first?
