You appear to have the idea. Fill the replacement secondary filter up with fuel before you put it on. Best to do the replacement when the car is still warm, it helps it start after. When it fires after the replacement, make sure you keep the throttle down a bit as it needs to be running fast enough to insure it doesnt stall while it is getting rid of the last of the air.
