I guess that might explain the odd shaking that occurred a few times during the trip. Thankfully I'm not the type to panic and just pulled out of the tremors although I was still confused as to why they were happening almost at random (Just hitting a merge of concrete and asphalt did it once or running over a small bump in the road would do it) My theory is that it was something to do with the load on the axles and the airbag springs seem to make sense.

Yeah she was a real trooper about the entire thing so I'm very proud of her for dealing with such crazy unexpected last minute circumstances. Although it must be said that she says I drive an 'old man car'....after that trip I don't think she should make any complaints about it
