If all else fails, and you use youtube a lot to look up songs, you can get a song directly from any youtube video by using http://www.catchyoutube.com

You just put in the link and click on what you want. I suppose the "audio only -mp3 option would be what you want. We'll see if it works though. You tell me. I have an mp3 player that is not an ipod, so I don't have to deal with iTunes.
