Good story and I have cut the strings with people before just because they are idiots (not facebook).
1. It takes two to tango - never answer a text or email back that is hatefull. By answering you are giving the writer his/her wish.
2. Its somewhat common in my business for an outsider (non employee) to call in and snitch on an employee. Usually its a ex - girlfriend/boyfriend/wife, etc. Fill in that blank. The more obsurd the complaint the less attention I pay to it - and unless it something of a serious nature that could possibly affect business or is a risk, it always goes in file 13 and rarely discussed with employee.
