Agreed. Little off topic for the OP, but that's one of the prime reasons we came to Texas from NJ. Besides the attitude and cost of living, education was a motivator. My partner went to WPU in NJ for undergrad. NYU and CUNY were considerations for his Masters. He will graduate from U of T - Arlington next spring with his Masters in Cultural Anthropology & Sociology. All told, his Masters will have cost less than 3 semesters of undergrad in NJ, let alone what NYU & CUNY cost..
