Replacing the tattered hood pad on my 97 E300D. It has these plastic buttons that hold it on. Can these be removed and reused or do they need to be replaced? It looks like you should be able to pop out the center and pull them out and reuse, but they don't want to come out very easily and may need to ruin to get them out. Also, it appears this type uses no adhesive, just these plastic clips, is that correct?
