Alan911,

You can solve your problem for a quarter. Get yourself an O ring and insert it between the top bushing and the washer at the top of the damper. Over time the bushing gets sloppy and vibrates. The O ring picks up the slacks and stops the vibration. I did it over a year ago and it is still fine.
