The chain should be ok, it has a 3% key, but sometimes I wonder about the price I think you are wright with the demand and supply.

I'm just curious about it, I noticed that many parts are similar in BMW Mercedes and Volkswagen, besides being all German they have the same suppliers at some point, yesterday I got the master and slave clutch cylinder from a BMW and I swap the pistons with my car ones, and they were about the same size and shape, It just works straight. Something similar happens with the injectors, I found a Volkswagen with Bosh nozzle and they were newer than mine and they work much better than my old ones,

I guess there is like a Iwis book, with all the chains pitch & roller sizes and you can go from there.

I just want to figure it out the most efficient way to fix the car with new and used parts.
