How did you set up the purge? Coke bottle with input and return lines going into the bottle right to the bottom? When I purge, I accelerate by pulling on the linkage under the hood so I can see what is going on in the purge bottle. I'm guessing that what was happening was that the input line in the bottle was sucking air instead of fluid.
