my story-
I bought one of those "stage 2" intake kits off ebay and installed it on my 83 300D. It was from wade performance products.
It immediately sounded great, turbo whine is a siren song.
Then I took it on a 1500 mile trip, 500 miles in, the oil separator deal that they sent me, which consisted of PVC pipe glued over some wire mesh and some other foamy stuff, clogged up and stopped movement. This ended up blowing out the valve cover gasket, and I ended up with a leak of nearly a quart of oil every 100 miles.
If you were to do that, id avoid that red oil separator that they provide, and use an oem option. Better yet is not to pay them for something you could make yourself for about 30 dollars in parts from the home depot.
