I hear the ones with air suspensions like to burn through tires ever 15,000 miles. I'd also be very leery of a V10. The 4 cylinder PD motors have enough top end oiling problems... I'd hate to think of how much it would cost to replace the camshafts in a V10 after they got munched up.
The new common rail V6 has more then enough power for that truck. The V10 can almost lift the front wheels off the ground from a stop

One tuner I know won't touch the V10 because you start breaking transmissions and driveshafts when you turn them up
