I have a 1987 Mercedes 560SL with 78k miles. Fuse #7 blows almost immediately after I turn the key after changing it. Someone on the board told me that the common culprit there is usually the washer heaters, so I disconntect them at the heater plugs near the washers. The fuses are still blowing.

Does anyone know the 2nd most common reason these fuses blow? I don't even know where to start.
