I have windows defender running, simply because it is part of Win7. I do have Malwarebytes installed, and run a scan every once in a long while for the heck of it, but it never finds anything.
No "real antivirus" software though, it is unnecessary. Everything risky I do in a virtual machine, can always blow those away.
