Can't speak of your chassis, but I did it on a M104 in a W124.

Was easy. Got under the car, undid the bolts on the bottom of the mounts.

Got a trolley jack and blocked it up off the ground. Put a block of wood on top as well and gently lifted the engine up by the alternator bracket.

This is obviously not ideal, but from memory you dont have to lift it far.
