I just went through my alt. All I did was replace the rear bearing, cleaned and painted. These don't come apart as easily as a Delco and several of my fasteners were very difficult to remove. Corrosion... from pressure washing perhaps. Bearing puller required for bearings. Checked my local Napa . not much parts help there. Advance and O'reilly had bearings available. Stuck fasteners were the worst problem.
