Nice looking horse. Is she a bit smallish and thus an acceptable riding horse?

A friend of mine up in WA state has had horses for years, operates summer riding and winter sledding excursions at present near Leavenworth, WA.

He's a big fella, about 6-5, 280 or so. Played offensive line for Woody Hayes. When I hung with him back in the late 80s his favorite riding horse was a 3/4 Thorougbred - 1/4 Belgian. I rode him once - very smooth, a bit larger than I wanted but riding just about any horse hurts my knees, dammit. Wrapped around that big rib cage doesn't work for me real well.
