Have any of you seen any tutorials on how to replace the slip rings?
I have access to a lathe that I could true them on, but the spare alternator I have came off of a 450,000 mile car, and has heavily worn rings.
(I'm honestly more likely to call it a core and junk it some day, but couldn't hurt to try my hand at repairing it, I suppose.)
