Replaced air pump on 97 E-320, gas engine, with a re-built (Bosch) air pump ( about 2 years ago). It has worked flawlessly but has always been noisy when it comes on. In the last 6 months it has become more noisy but continues to work well. Anyone have any suggestions short of replacing the pump again?
