300 SD oil cooling lines

FYI, I just finished changing out my cooling lines. It took me less than an hour including destroying a perfectly good 1 1/16" wrench. Granted I was fortunate, the fasteners at the oil cooler unscrewed with out a hitch. The filter side was a different story, simply cut the ends off with a saws all and removed the nipple from the remaining hose. Entirely from the top, engine mounts, shocks in place, car not raised, I removed the two strap fasteners and rotating the soft ends behind the powersteering pump then back and up I removed the old hoses. First the lower then the upper. I had the oil filter nipples off. I then from behind the power steering pump, between the engine mount and cross member in an arcing motion front down around and up, I installed the upper hose, pushed the flexible end into postion. (five minutes) Then repeated the same for the lower. (five more minutes) Secured loosely the radiator ends, front strap, nipples in place then oil filter side, second strap, tightened and done. All from the top, engine not moved, no where near six hours, and I took my time less than an hour.
