If the footwell fills with water it has a pluggd drain too. There is a rubber plug with a drain hole in it in each footwell for the purpose of draining any fluid that spills or collects in the footwells. While clearing this drain will avoid a small pond from forming it does not address the reason why you get water there to begin with. To address the source of the water leakage you need to follow the instructions above and the instructions in the referenced threads. This is a repeat topic here and you should be able to do a search on water leaks into the car and get a long list of reference material. All point to the hood drains and the sunroof drains, and to the fact that it is important to keep these clear or you will get corrosion as well as mildew damage. Good luck, Jim
