From what I can find, there were only 1,508 1976 280SLC's made and none were sent to the US. I only know of one other, would be glad to know of more.
Mine has MB Tex/cloth interior, crank windows, manual antenna, no A/C, ect. Just turned 58,000 miles with all records except showroom ones.
Imported from Germany when halogens were still illegal.
