I have not checked the brushes yet, but the fan works consistently and without issue on setting one and two and five and six. I can not tell for sure but the rest of the speeds in between seem to be inoperative. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the fan act strangely in all speeds if the brushes were bad?
