I just finished replacing the front seal, flex plate, and torque converter in my 300SD. It was time consuming, but not that difficult. Mercedes quoted me around $1300.00. I was able to do it myself for about $450.00(this included some new tools I needed). Just a bit of info. By the way my car now runs great, no more clatter or leakage.
