Thanks for your help "Beatle Juice".

I'm going ahead and replacing with fast glow plugs and insulated wires.
It's probably time to replace the original ones anyway, although they've been functioning fine.
But, first, need to check the fuse to make sure all the juice is flowing through ok with no resistance. (= may need cleaning ?)
