Hey Everyone,
I'm looking into purchasing a 99 C43. The owner says it recently developed a "noise" that he thinks is coming from the torque converter. He says it drives and shifts just fine but says when the car is in neutral or reverse it makes a "clinking" noise. He seems to think it's a loose blade in the torque converter that is rattling.... He says the noise gets lower as RPM increases.

Anyone ever heard of this happening? Could it be anything else?
