Performed this test yesterday, there's a leak somewhere either in the line to the trans modulator or at the modulator itself. I remember reading in the notes from the service history there was a comment about a small leak at the trans modulator at that time but the service tech deduced that it wasn't enough to cause shift problems. That was some time ago, I think it's more likely to need a new modulator now.

I have to put the car up to locate a VCV bolt that got away from me so I'll test the modulator independent of the line and see what I get. It would be nice to find the line or a hose coupler to be at fault but I'm not optimistic.
