The number of folks that can bring a car like this into compliance is a LOT smaller than it was 20 years ago--simply because it's even less feasible and economical than ever.

YOU will be the importer--they will just do the compliance work.

This effort is about 99% of the time applied to high-end exotic cars rather than used car clunkers, as the price range of the former can support the cost. These are NOT low-margin folks.

Note also, that compliance includes both emissions AND safety.
