Wow! Is this a bare-ass naked trolling thread??
I'll bite.
I am a Christian--does that qualify me to answer? I can answer for no one but myself. There is no one CHRISTIAN answer; there are several.
My view is that the nation Israel is not what is in view in the biblical prophecies regarding "the Land". Many Christians would disagree with me on this and believe that the nation, Israel is still looking for fulfillment of the ancient prophecies that "The Land" is theirs forever.
I take a rather different view--In his letter to the Romans, Paul makes a distinction between Israel and Israel--one is the nation; the other is the entire body of believers throughout all time. Thus, he says, " Not all Israel is Israel", meaning that not all Jews are members of the family of faith. Following that reasoning, I believe that the nation Israel is no longer God's chosen people-the church ( the invisible church; not the ones you see on the side of the road) is heir to all those "Israel" promises.
IOW, as a Christian, I do not see the current nation Israel as having God-given RIGHT to that land. I take no side in the generational warfare between Jews and Arab.
Wasn't quite the bombastic tirade you hoped for, huh?
