Just went through changing one of mine out. Both of mine (left and right sides) have the pin\peg doodads. The biggest problem I had, besides letting my wife get in and start pushing them, was the plastic chrome bezel around them not wanting to remain in place after I put one of them back together. If that snaps off even at one corner, I would end up with one peg\spring strip getting loose inside, and the rebuild would be on again. It's like working on a watch.
