Is there any way to check a W201 / W124 style motor mount when it is off the car to determine whether it is "good" or "bad"?

I have several that I have collected over the years. I just removed 2 from my 190D that I know were bad, and replaced them with 2 newer looking ones from a wrecked car. The vibration is greatly reduced now, so I feel good about the mounts that are now installed in the car.

However, I would like to be able to test some of the others to see if they are worth using or not.
