OK, I only did it for a moment for testing, so hopefully no harm done. Would you guess based on the series of events that it's just a recharge that's needed? If so, I will just have it done and forego the expense of buying a gauge. (Or is recharging it myself an option? I've never done it.)

Also, what about the relay location? Any tips?
